Dry ice blasting for mold remediation and removal is the newest and most environmentally friendly way to remove mold from your home or business. If you find yourself in a situation where an expert has alerted you to mold, we are here to help – without chemicals or materials that can affect your home, family, or pets! Because dry ice blasting does not leave behind any abrasive or chemicals or secondary waste, this method for removing mold is becoming a new favorite for both homeowners and businesses.

It’s safe and non-toxic! An added benefit to dry ice blasting is that it will cause very little to no structural issues to a contaminated surface that you commonly find in buildings. As a rough example, when we are doing mold remediation on wood, it will remove less than 1/32 of the surface. This process will handle your mold spore issue, but won’t hurt the structure and surfaces of your home or building. This can be especially important when we are using the dry ice blasting method when we are cleaning an attic or crawl space.

We are mobile! We use a specialized machine that allows us to come to your home or business to address whatever issue you are facing. Utilizing the Aero® 40FP we can clean or get rid of mold that you want gone!

Dry ice blasting is a form of cleaning, where we use carbon dioxide (dry ice) in a pressurized form of air to clean a surface….. With some distinct advantages:

Non Abrasive (like sandblasting)
Non Flammable
Non Conductive
Non Toxic (so it is ideal in homes or businesses)

In many solutions where you might need a heavy or industrial type cleaning, there is typically a byproduct like chemicals or sand or plastic beading that can be a byproduct of this process – with dry ice blasting you have no cleaning byproducts – we just remove whatever we wanted to get rid of (like smoke or mold) and your end product is a clean and environmentally safe solution!

How Does It Work?

Dry ice blasting utilizes soft dry ice pellets that are pressurized at high velocity. The pellets of dry ice use the speed and energy to clean the target surface, without causing damage to the surface that needs to be cleaned. This process has the effect of cleaning more deeply but also allows us to get rid of mold more easily.

My house is better than new!I had R&R Insulation work on my home, which has a uniquely challenging crawl space—large, built on a steep slope, and with areas under the floor reaching over 15 feet in height. They exceeded all expectations!The primary reason for contacting them was to address a rodent infestation in the crawl space. Their team performed a comprehensive rodent exclusion, sealing all entry points with steel wire and construction adhesive, re-screening vents, and ensuring no future access. They thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the space, removing old insulation, a damaged vapor barrier, animal waste and professionally disposed of it.R&R went above and beyond by installing new 6-mil vapor barriers, R38 fiberglass batts under the flooring, R11 fiberglass heat duct wraps, and bringing the attic insulation up to R60. They also wrapped pipes and Polly twined the floor insulation. To top it off, they constructed a new crawl space door.Out of three bids I received, R&R was the most professional and economical. My house feels better than new, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend R&R Insulation for their quality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service!

I heartily recommend, without hesitation, the work R&R performed at our house on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Their experienced workers went about their jobs quietly and professionally. They were both competant and clean.Our house's insulation hadn't been upgraded since it passed code in 1986, and there were indications of rodent incursion under the house and, oddly enough, woodpeckers in the attic(!)They taped plastic sheets down everywhere they traveled, and rolled them up and removed them after each day's use, affixing new sheets the following day. They closed off the critter entrances. They blew in additional insulation in the attic(s) and removed the old insulation, and cleaned under the house before installing new (current code) insulation.Results: Our house is now critter-free, warmer, and unexpectedly, quieter.I suppose the other (2) companies that quoted this work could have done a competant job - but R&R did the job on-time and cost less, and did not insist on additional line items that were not specified.Summary: Because of our experience, I cannot find fault with R&R Installation LLC - their attention to detail, cleanliness, and work ethic make them ABSOLUTE ACES in my book!Hire them. You won't be dissatisfied (or poorer than necessary;-)

R&R IS fabulous!I left a message for them and they immediately returned my phone call. They scheduled ab appointment and kept it. They gave me a quote that was clear and concise. We scheduled a date for the install and they completed the work on the two days that they had agreed to, as well as confirming that appointment. They cleaned up their mess and I mean crawling around on the ground picking up little pieces of fiberglass to protect my dogs. Of the technicians that were here both were absolutely amazing. This company was professional and polite all the way through. They came when they said they were going to. They brought friendly, polite workers. They did a excellent job on what we had done.We had an evasion of rodents in our concreted crawlspace that had soiled all of our fiber insulation under the house.R&R Insulation removed all the old insulation and cleaned up every bit. Cleaned up all the rodent debris and sprayed a disinfectant . They secured all the areas that rodents could get in. It was a beautiful, clean job, timely done and accurate. We opted to have foam insulation sprayed in to replace the other type. That was done by his subcontractor, Pacific Spray Systems. That work was also done in the same fashion, very clean work, accurate, polite workers and the job was done to the specifics mentioned in the estimate.Overall extremely happy with the work.

We first used R&R a couple years ago to clean up and reinsulate the crawl space on our rental. They did a fantastic job on a rather challenging crawl without a lot of room to maneuver. I was extremely happy with the results of their work, their professionalism, honesty and punctuality that we called them again to do work at our primary residence. They did not disappoint. The recent work completed in the crawl of our home included replacing some damaged insulation, removal and replacement of the entire vapor barrier, rodent proofing, and installation of a sump pump basin, pump and associated drainage/discharge related to the pump.Their work is excellent, and they are a pleasure to deal with. They are very prompt, courteous, super-efficient, and importantly very thorough with cleanup of everything associated with the job.
